A deep deep manly fragrance. A woody, herbal, oud concoction which projects a mood...a strong, serious, brooding mood. Utterly masculine and sexy, smells wonderful on my man. A must for those who love complex oud.

Wonderfully seductive and mysterious. A complex bouquet that lingers. Wood, musk, spicy swirl together to create mystery and subtly. Warning - don't wear this oud if you need to concentrate. I am sitting at work, staring at the screen and savoring the scent. Highly recommended

A strong scent which can.be overwhelming at initial application, lingers and softens slightly to other sensual tones.

I read this was recommended for male but thought I’d try it anyway and I Am so glad I did! Definitely recommend if you like woody, smoky, amber scents that are strong and last all day . I’ve already put in another order for the larger bottle and now I’m trying some shower gel and moisturiser! I’m totally in love with these products - definitely try some because you won’t be disappointed!!

Dark, Mysterious, Complex - and Divine! The moment I opened the bottle and smelled it, I just sat down with my eyes closed and soaked in that divine fragrance for at least the next 15-20 seconds. I don't want to explain anything about its notes, all I can say is this stuff is simply outstanding. Worth every penny, and thank you Abdul Karim Al Faransi for this wonderful creation.

How it smells:

when I first smelled this from the bottle I wasn't keen, but I was intrigued. So I bought a sample. At first, on my skin, this had a dark, mysterious, strong, earthy and animalic and musky smell. The initial projection was very large and it lasted all day long! Later it became more of a strong amber and ash-like spicy smell. If I could paint a picture of this smell I would draw Arnold from the Terminator. When I wear this I feel as if I have engine oil and fresh tarmac steam coming off my upper body, real bad-ass like. It's very strong and I'd recommend a small amount on the first try. I wouldn't say this smell like Black Afgano, but I'd put them in the same group.

Where I would wear it:

Personally, I Love wearing this in the gym, after building up a sweat you really get to appreciate some of the notes in this oil. And, It makes me feel very powerful (like Arny). I'd also think it goes nicely in the winter months or colder evenings. I think it's a little overpowering for a hot summer day unless it's applied in small amounts. I also think this is suitable for an experienced nose and to be worn around people who appreciate niche fragrances. You will stand out, but need to be confident to pull it off and own it.

Conclusion:

Top Marks for being unique and mysterious. I ended up buying a full bottle because it was worth adding to my inventory. Mi esposa, she loves it on my skin after a few hours, it's very much an aphrodisiac. I don't wear it all the time, but when I do, it's always a nice experience

Out of the world , I love oud abd Amber basedfragrances and in my honest opinion i have not smelled anything near to this in my life - surorising thing is that this is pure plant based but easily beats any Ambergris based expensive creations of established houses in my dictionary this is Nuclear grade stuff very deep very complex with monster performance: i wish Nr. Anthony thinks of making spray form as well

A really deep and mysterious woody scent.

this perfume is just beyond handsome, especially in the dry down and it's just a pity that it takes so annoyingly long to get there.

This thick, tarry black and myterious aroma will last for days on your skin, this is the longest lasting attar that I've ever experienced except some pure agarwood artisnal oils which I've tried in the past.

If abyss had a smell it would defiantly be it.

You seriously need to be really discreet with the application beacuse when your body warms the oil, it's overly strong sillage will scent your entire self just enough.

I would say this is so far my favorite fragrance from this house.

It smells like a luxurious perfume. Stays on skin for over 10 hours. Use very little dab as it can get very overbearing for some people.

this (new batch 2018) is holy-grail material: it is strong, dark, honeyed leather labdanum, spices and musk, with a subtle and VERY good oud-note joining in the drydown and weaving in and out of the ambery goodness. lasts a long time and is truly swoon-worthy -- as good today on your skin as it will be the next day on your clothes. in fact, i just got my bottle and am about to buy a (larger) back up -- i never want to be without this. so if you like amber you *must* give this a try.

Very nice amber fragrance.But quite dark and strongly ambery which is for european noses a little too heavy,at least for casual wear.Longlasting spicy,ambery attar.

For a much more wearable alternative choose Amber Afghani..

This is one incredibly powerful fragrance! One small dot of the liquid - actually semi-liquid - will last at least a day. I put a small amount on a strip of paper and the scent is still there

after a week. Not sweet in the slightest, the scent has a somewhat bitter and medicinal character and is probably the best amber fragrance I have ever encountered. I must say that this scent would not suit everyone; in my opinion one would have to be a pretty imposing person in order not to be overwhelmed by this amber.

This has a very strong projection - even on my skin. The smell is the opposite to the typical sweeter perfumes I tend to go for. This is very heavy and strong and somewhat difficult to describe beyond what the maker of it has already stated. The dry down as someone else described, is very pleasant, more so than the smell of the original application itself, but I have a feeling this perfume is either love or hate. I do recommend this.

Beautiful scent just like many others that I tried last week. I am not good at describing a fragrance. I will just quote Pacino in 'Frankie and Johnny': "Heart knows something that reason does not understand". These oils invoke new feelings, maybe completely forgotten. I had a journey in time to my childhood.

This has a spicy ambery opening that settles down into an incense type fragrance (Norma Kamaliesque incense) in 4-5 hrs. Has tremendous staying power (over 24 hrs). Go easy on the applicator and you will be rewarded with olfactory bliss for a long time!

Edit: So, after this had been on my skin for a good 6 hours, I had to shower for work which means that obviously I washed it off, well, all through the evening at work, I kept catching these amazing wafts of the drydown of Oud when it's in that pristine, deep woody scent that we're all continually chasing and good Lord did it smell amazing, all night! My point being is that this perfume is beyond handsome smelling well after the far drydown, it's just a pity that it takes so annoyingly long to get there, and if unwashed, this heavenly thick, tarry black aroma will last for days on your skin, the longest lasting attar that I've ever experienced. I wish that I could give this perfume an award because it's really a work of art, just amazing, you have no idea. This 'smell' is incredibly fascinating and is the blackest of the black. I will sign my truck title over to you as a 100% guarantee that you've 'never' smelled anything like this, ever! It is a giant wall of textured black 'thickness' that consumes your mucous membranes and sucks the air right out of you, but the totally awesome part is that you keep shoving your sniffer back in for more to try and decipher this mystery that's a black abyss. It makes Normal Kamalis's Incense look like H²O. I'm literally blown away by the complete overwhelming power Amber Ash-Sheikh has. What I'm trying to figure out is where did this perfumer find these materials, what are they and how is it that they are so freakin' strong?! I'm in love with this perfume and want to smell like this bad ass smell forever. Honest to God above, this entire line of perfumes is a masterpiece. Abdul Karim al Faransi is a genius. Every single perfume I've tried is amazing! As a reminder also, the power of this scent is astronomical, you have no clue. This is not in any way an 'apply a few drops here and there' kinda scent, no way. You seriously need to be really, super discreet with the application as Amber Ash-Sheikh is a beast on steroids for endle...
