The original Hind perfume became a worldwide favourite for its deep, warm amber character. It was eventually discontinued due to the unavailability of key materials — materials that remain unobtainable to this day.

Years passed, yet requests for Hind never stopped.

Bint Hind, meaning “Daughter of Hind,” was created as its true successor. This composition comes as close as possible to the original — approximately 90% in character and feel.

If you loved Hind in the past, this is the closest experience available today.

Inspiration

Bint Hind is a perfume of character, warm and spicy, honoring the scent of tradition passed down through generations. Floral oils are stirred with sandalwood to beautify a botanical amber, in the way only our perfumer knows.

Created as a tribute to Hind, one of our most harmonious creations from past years, Bint Hind follows a new and nuanced path. It draws on the great scents of Arabian perfumery, weaving florals, woods, and resins into a composition that feels both classic and intimate. Its name, meaning “the daughter of Hind” in Arabic, is a poetic nod to ancestry and continuity.

The fragrance opens with sweet tangerine and smooth vanilla, unfolding into creamy sandalwood and florals, before settling into the warmth of amber for an elegant and lasting impression.

Hind is an absolute favourite of mine . Every time I smell this beautiful perfume it takes me back to the hippy markets I visited as a young person in the 70’s , it is perfect . I have not been disappointed with anything I have purchased from this store - thank you .

Nice, but a little strong

The initial sweetness on myself was very strong, I could still smell it when I went to bed that night, although everything had settled into a pleasent aroma. Nice, but not my favourite.

Beautiful, lasting scent

A tiny bit goes a VERY long way!!! I'm not a big fan of overloading oneself with fragrance....and I dont like putting it in the normal places (neck, wrists) because its too close to my face and overwhelms me. One small spot of this on my stomach (just below my navel) and I get gentle waves of scent every time I move....and everyone has commented on how lovely it smells!!

Beautiful deep and complex, but not overpowering, this perfume lasts all day and becomes mellow and floral. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking forward to trying this based on the reviews but was very disappointed. I do not like this at all. Too sweet and heavy, like cheap incense. If you're like me and don't like sweet heavy scents try the Oud Abiyat. That one I absolutely love!
